kops21 SG alot of merchants though have credit card machines but consumer have to pay 3-4% to use it.... i am informed this method for using credit card facilities are not allowed in accordance with the Credit Card companies that the merchant applied to get the machine. If we complain, they might lost the machine.....
sbst275 SG Not always true as those are housebrand vs housebrand... Anyway, NTUC also another one, always at their back, block emergency exit rt and the floor is wet ... Complain to Housing Board, they can't be bothered, govt help each other
nOrmalbOi SG i've known a loooooooooooooong time ago that NTUC does not accept CCs.. lol... i know coz i have been in ur situation before too elindra anyway... that taught me to look at the boards above/around the check out counters... they normally indicate what kinda payment modes they accept
Deportivo SG sorry to hear your incident elindra. as far as i know, NTUC doesn’t accept credit cards. Maybe you should write a suggestion to them.
sbst275 SG If that's the case, cashcard better... Anyway, dun think NTUC would change, they still want to keep cost low for better margin
elindra SG Yeah to them Makes me feel like taking the trouble to go to Cold Storage to shop. Thing is, I hardly step into NTUC so I didn't know about this no Credit Card thingy. My new place only have a NTUC so unless I really don't have a choice I think I might take the trouble to go to Cold Storage
nOrmalbOi SG or go wet market do ur shopping? *imagines elin haggling with hawkers over price of fish*
